Went to my first meeting (“My name is Lynne and I’m a hopeless singer…”). Lady from W H Smith, Jan, was there and startled to know she and her dinosaur-loving granddaughter were the subject of a Facebook post.The MD asked me if I was a soprano or an alto. I had no idea. After trying to sing “Three Kings from Persian lands afar” and “Christmas Bells”, turns out I’m probably a baritone. They all said “See you next week?”. What kind people.
